MICHAEL A. URSILLO, Partner
Mike Ursillo maintains a
general practice of law, with emphasis on municipal and business law, including appointment as legal counsel to five Rhode Island municipalities; estate planning; appearances before local and state agencies; prosecution and defense of misdemeanor offenses; contract; real estate; corporate; civil trial; and arbitration preparation.  Mike earned his A.B., magna cum laude, from Brown University and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
 

Mike was Chief Law Clerk for the Trial Court Clerk Pool of the Rhode Island Superior  Court, and served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas F. Kelleher, Senior Associate Justice of the Rhode Island Supreme Court.  Among his many public service appointments, he is currently a member of the Rhode Island Board of Bar Examiners and the Rhode Island Supreme Court Committee on Character and Fitness.


SCOTT A RITCH, Partner

Scott Ritch’s practice concentrates in the area of commercial lending, representing lenders and borrowers in all kinds of financing transactions.  He has extensive experience in real estate construction and other real estate lending as well as asset-based, other commercial secured and unsecured lending, and acquisition financing and in the areas of foreclosure and loan "workout" situations .

Scott’s practice also involves all areas and aspects of real estate law, with particular emphasis on commercial real estate and commercial leasing.  He has represented developers in the acquisition, development and sale of various types of commercial real estate, including office buildings, shopping centers and condominium projects.  He has particular experience in commercial lease transactions including ground leases, industrial leases and leasehold mortgages.

Scott earned his B.S. Degree in Accounting, summa cum laude, from Providence College, and his J.D. from Boston University School of Law, where he was a G. Joseph Tauro Scholar.  He is admitted to practice law in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.


ANDREW M. TEITZ, Partner
Andy Teitz represents clients ranging from major corporations to municipalities to institutions to individual homeowners, before town councils, zoning and planning boards, historic district commissions, and the like, throughout southern New England.  He has drafted state enabling legislation on zoning and land development and has drafted dozens of municipal land use ordinances and bylaws.  Andy is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Trinity College, in Hartford, Connecticut, and received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone scholar.  He is certified as a Professional Planner by the American Institute of Certified Planners.  Andy is listed in Woodward/White Inc.'s The Best Lawyers in America in the zoning and land use category.  He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States.


NANCY E. LETENDRE, Associate
Nancy Letendre’s practice is concentrated in litigation, land use, historic preservation, and municipal law.  In addition to assisting the municipalities represented by UTR, Nancy works with private developers on land development, subdivision, and affordable housing projects. 

She has in-depth experience in affordable housing, having served on the Housing Resource Commission which recently re-drafted the Rhode Island affordable housing legislation.  She is a regular trainer for municipal councils, boards, and commissions for Grow Smart Rhode Island’s programs “Making Better Land Use Decisions” and “Affordable Housing For Your Community.”  Nancy recently collaborated with Rhode Island Housing and R.I. Statewide Planning in the preparation and presentation of Technical Training programs on the implementation of the amended Low and Moderate Income Housing Act.

Nancy is certified as a Professional Planner by the American Institute of Certified Planners.  She earned her B.A. Degree from the University of Rhode Island and her J.D. from Pace University School of Law, where she was a member of the Pace Environmental Law Review.  She is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.


JEANNE M. SCOTT, Associate
Jeanne Scott concentrates her practice on litigation, including civil rights, business, personal injury, defamation, environmental, land use, and municipal representation. She appears before all state and federal courts throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  In addition to her civil practice, she prosecutes and defends criminal misdemeanor cases.  She is also experienced in land use and municipal law.

Jeanne earned her B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and her J.D., magna cum laude, and 2nd in her class, from Roger Williams University School of Law.  She is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.


CHRISTINA M. SENNO, Associate
Christina Senno practices in the area of corporate transactions, especially commercial leasing and lending.  She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Southern Methodist University, where she was an SMU University Scholar, and her J.D., cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law, where she was a member of the Law Review.  She is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
